Will Shetterly has a great post on his blog, It's All One Thing, with a clip from Rachel Maddow which points out how Obama has significantly escalated the war in Afghanistan based on the Bush doctrine.
As Unitarian Universalists reflect and discuss whether UU should become a Peace Church or consider other options such as support a Just War philosopy, it must grapple with this signficant change in U.S. policy which holds that the U.S. can go to war pre-emptively whenever it considers its interests threatened even in the future.
I voted for Obama and am deeply disappointed in a man I thought had more integrity.
