The news we hear is full of grief
but inside my heart I am full of love
for my life, for you, for the goodness
that surrounds me.
Suffering is unnecessary.
but pain happens and is part of life
it can't really touch me in my soul
because I am in paradise right here, right now
knowing that in the end everything is all right.
