It will never be a faith for the hoi polloi. It is too demanding and requires advanced levels of faith development. Perhaps maybe one of the problems with UU is that they don't know who their audience is. It is those folks who are the "nones", the spiritual but not religious. How to attract them and engage them is the question which UU has not yet answered. If it finds the keys to those locks, it will move forward. If not it will die. It is interesting to watch the "movement" as some call it play out. I truly believe it is the religion for the 21 st century but its ministerial training programs have not prepared the necessary leadership. In fact UUs have closed their seminaries and outsourced their ministerial training which is a big mistake.Brad Jergensnoreply@blogger.com
