41 of UUA congregations go back at least 300 years. BUUF is 3 days old

The Brockport Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Brockport, NY became incorporated in New York State on Friday, May 13, 2011 and held its Charter Sunday service yesterday, Sunday, May 15th, 2011. It will apply for membership in the UUA this fall and hopefully its application will be favorably voted on at the board meeting in October, 2011. We are proud to be the latest shoot from the denominational tree which has such deep roots.

The oldest existing church in continuous use in the United States seems to be the Old Ship Church in Hingham, Massachusetts which currently houses a Unitarian Universalist Church.
